Hi Everyone,

We are now into the main caravanning part of the year, with most people looking forward to their summer holidays, either at home or abroad.

Rallies continue to attract members, with most rallies full on the day they happen.

Please ensure that if you intend running a rally next year, or are running one this year, that you get the liaise form back to the Rally Secretary, where possible way before the rally takes place.

It will be soon time to get the 2009 Rally Book collated ready for printing, and the draft programme looks a bit sparse at the moment.

This is MOST important, because the longer you leave it the later the rally book will be published, and this year we would like to get it out, and to you all "without any hitches".

Also remember to get your entries in for the competition for the rally book cover, this carries a £10 prize for the winner…!!

Nominations for the George & Marion Coveney Award need to be sent to me, this award is made annually to the person or persons that make the most contribution to the Lincolnshire Centre throughout the year, whether it be for sport, dedication, service or anything else connected with caravanning.

Remember also to fill in your nomination forms for the Youth Lister Award. This is awarded to the young person who - in the opinion of the nominee - has done the most for the Youth Committee this year.

Then of course - the big one - nominations for committee…!!

If you would like to serve the Centre on the committee, you will need to fill in the nomination form in the Rally book, and also, get it countersigned by another person.

I believe this is a challenging job - but the pleasure you get when you see all the members enjoying themselves pays big dividends, So lets see if we can encourage some new faces this year to help run the Centre.

There are one or two new prizes, for the Chairman's Charity… Wilkinson's Home & Garden have donated a £20 voucher to be spent in any Wilkinson's store, and a few more editions to the prizes from existing donators.

Ticket sales are steady, taking the total over £800.

My sincere thanks to all donators, for these extra prizes and ticket sales.
